Special ballot voting lets you vote by mail or in person at an Elections Canada office if you can't or don't want to vote an an advance poll or on Election Day. It's also a good option if you're away from your riding, whether inside or outside of Canada.

To vote, you must prove your identity and address. You can do this by submitting copies of your ID online, by mail, or by fax. Once your ID is verified, you'll get a special ballot kit.
